The aim of the Retreat is to  provide the environment and support to promote rapid progress in  developing proposals over a relatively short time period. The Retreat is  open to health professionals and academic partners working within the  South West who are preparing research proposals for submission to  peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care  research.<\/p>\n<p>In order to apply for the retreat, researchers will need to register via the RDS SW website at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rds-sw.nihr.ac.uk\/rrr.htm\">www.rds-sw.nihr.ac.uk\/rrr.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>deadline<\/strong> for  applications is <strong>1pm on Friday 17 January 2014<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be  reviewed and places awarded to teams with suitable proposals by the end of February 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Research Design Service - South West are now accepting applications for the *Residential Research Retreat* which will be held at the Ammerdown Conference Centre, near Bath in Somerset from 1 June to 6 June 2014 inclusive.
