{"id":1400,"date":"2014-01-17T12:31:58","date_gmt":"2014-01-17T12:31:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/?p=1400"},"modified":"2014-01-17T12:31:58","modified_gmt":"2014-01-17T12:31:58","slug":"research-capability-funding-call","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/2014\/01\/17\/research-capability-funding-call\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Capability Funding Call"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1402   aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/files\/\/www\/vhosts\/bathblogs\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/621\/files\/2014\/01\/RCF1.png\" alt=\"RCF\" width=\"807\" height=\"271\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>What is RCF?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">NIHR RCF is a funding stream designed to help research-active NHS organisations attract, develop and retain high-quality research, clinical and support staff by supporting salaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Who is eligible? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Researchers, NHS or academics involved in people based research who will recruit from any of our Consortia areas; Bath &amp; North East Somerset, Swindon, and East Wiltshire and the North and West localities of Wiltshire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>To cover:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>the      part of an NIHR Faculty member's salary which is not covered by other NIHR      sources<\/li>\n<li>new      staff, who are expected to be Faculty members, but who have not yet      obtained funding from the other NIHR sources<\/li>\n<li>existing      Faculty members who are \"between grants\"<\/li>\n<li>the      time spent by Faculty members in preparing grant proposals<\/li>\n<li>the      time spent by Faculty members in contributing to wider research needs, for      example, in peer review panels<\/li>\n<li>the      research-related time of NHS-employed administrative and secretarial staff      who are supporting Faculty members in their NIHR-related work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Please contact Lisa Austin: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:L.Austin@Bath.ac.uk\"><strong>L.Austin@Bath.ac.uk<\/strong><\/a><strong> for an application form.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Competition closes 14<sup>th<\/sup> February 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is RCF?
