{"id":1530,"date":"2015-02-06T12:31:30","date_gmt":"2015-02-06T12:31:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/?p=1530"},"modified":"2015-02-06T12:56:43","modified_gmt":"2015-02-06T12:56:43","slug":"centre-for-pain-research-featured-on-body-in-mind-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/healthresearch\/2015\/02\/06\/centre-for-pain-research-featured-on-body-in-mind-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Centre for Pain Research featured on Body in Mind website"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Research from the Bath Centre for Pain Research, has been featured on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyinmind.org\/\">Body in Mind website.<\/a> The Body in Mind\u00a0website focuses on attempts to better understand the way the body, brain and mind interact, with the aim to better facilitate and disseminate credible clinical science research.<\/p>\n<p>Three\u00a0studies from the Centre were\u00a0featured on the BIM\u00a0website, and included\u00a0the studies <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyinmind.org\/pain-communication-body-posture\/\">'Pain communication through body posture: The many postures of pain'<\/a> by Joe Walsh, a final year PhD student at the Centre; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyinmind.org\/psychological-therapies-children-pain\/\">'Do psychological therapies improve outcomes for children with chronic pain?'<\/a> by Emma Fisher, a PhD student at the Centre and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bodyinmind.org\/gender-body-language-pain\/\">'Gender and the body language of pain'<\/a> by Dr Ed Keogh, Deputy Director of the Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/pain\/\">Bath Centre for Pain Research<\/a> is focussed on innovation, creativity, and discovery; and supports a diverse range of research areas.
