This randomized controlled trial compared stratified primary care management for low back pain with current best practice. The main focus of the session will highlight the national and local\u00a0implementation\u00a0strategies that have been used to embed this approach into daily clinical practice. Key take home message will be included alongside reflections on implementation process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Kay Stevenson<\/em> has worked as a Consultant\u00a0Physiotherapist\u00a0since 2002 and jointly leads a successful Musculoskeletal Interface Service\u00a0, based at the Haywood\u00a0Hospital\u00a0in Stoke on Trent, Which assess and manages over 10,000 patients per year with non-surgical musculoskeletal disease. She is committed to ensuring high standards of care, education and research within this model and has a very keen interest in evidence based practice, patient involvement and musculoskeletal education. She has recently been awarded a National Institute for Health Research\u00a0Knowledge\u00a0Mobilization Fellowship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Helen Duffy <\/em>is a Consortium Manager at Keele University's Arthritis Research UK Primary Care Centre. Helens's role is to ensure clinical\u00a0engagement\u00a0in the research agenda and to support the dissemination\/implementation of research outputs into practice.
