The Culture and Inclusion team have been working closely with Campus Infrastructure to initiate our \u201cCross with Pride\u201d campaign, just in time for our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/events\/campus-pride-2024\/\">Campus Pride<\/a> celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>You will have seen rainbow coloured road crossings making an appearance all over the UK, but as these are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rnib.org.uk\/news\/multi-coloured-road-crossings-pose-a-threat-to-people-with-sight-loss-warn-charities\/#:~:text=RNIB%20Scotland%20and%20Guide%20dogs,have%20already%20appeared%20in%20Dumbarton\">not friendly to the blind and partially sighted<\/a>, we have opted for a different approach here\u00a0at Bath.<\/p>\n<p>Cross with Pride signs, which showcase the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperhewitt.org\/2023\/06\/20\/intersex-inclusive-progress-pride-flag-at-the-smithsonian\/\">intersex inclusive version of the Progress Pride Flag<\/a>, are a way for us to show our year round support to the LGBTQ+ community without having an impact on our disabled community.
