{"id":33,"date":"2015-06-17T10:02:17","date_gmt":"2015-06-17T09:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/iro\/?p=33"},"modified":"2015-06-17T10:02:17","modified_gmt":"2015-06-17T09:02:17","slug":"nafsa-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/iro\/2015\/06\/17\/nafsa-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"NAFSA 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the end of May, Tracey Stenson-Jukes, International Mobility Coordinator and I were joined by Pete Nuttall, the Director of International Relations for the School of Management at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nafsa.org\/Attend_Events\/Annual_Conference\/\">2015 NAFSA<\/a> (National Association of Foreign Student Advisers) Annual Conference &amp; Expo in Boston. It is the largest of its kind with 12,000 delegates attending the 4-day event.<\/p>\n<p>With a\u00a0focus on the undergraduate mobility, it was an excellent opportunity for us to meet with our <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.bath.ac.uk\/display\/IRO\/Student+Information\">existing partners<\/a>, such as Florida International University and University of Queensland\u00a0and potential partners to discuss opportunities for our\u00a0students.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was very successful for us. We had a lot of excellent feedback about our students' performance overseas and we\u00a0have agreed many areas\u00a0for growth.
