Lilith Ding and Tabitha Bradley were there to answer questions from prospective students and their parents<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On June 14th and 15th, the University of Bath hosted its Undergraduate Open Day for prospective students. Our colleagues in the International Relations Office (IRO) manned our stand on both days to give students a chance to ask about study abroad options.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We met many enthusiastic students on both days - despite Friday's not so nice weather. We were asked many questions including what potential destinations you can go to, what are the reasons to study abroad, how the application process goes, and what funding options there are.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage students to view studying abroad as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore a new country as a local, and fully embed themselves in its education system. Beyond language skills, studying abroad nurtures personal growth and adaptability, helping develop a more rounded view of the world.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Studying or working abroad<\/span> can enhance your academic skills, <\/span>provide <\/span>you with a<\/span> unique <\/span>chance<\/span> to network and open doors to international career opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond these career-boosting, employability skills, studying abroad is fun! It gives you a chance to experience university life in another country. While you can move abroad to start working, the low-pressure, enriching experience unique to studying abroad is something we believe all students deserve to have.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We really enjoyed meeting the potential new students!
