{"id":88,"date":"2015-09-10T13:26:56","date_gmt":"2015-09-10T12:26:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/it-status\/?p=88"},"modified":"2015-09-24T13:53:54","modified_gmt":"2015-09-24T12:53:54","slug":"it-maintenance-includes-log-out-request-tues-15-sept","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/it-status\/2015\/09\/10\/it-maintenance-includes-log-out-request-tues-15-sept\/","title":{"rendered":"Log out request and IT maintenance, Tues 15 Sept"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maintenance and upgrades will be taking place, during our at risk* period Tuesday 15 September 2015, 6am-9am.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All users are asked to log out before 6am, Tuesday 15 September.\u00a0 Most people will be able to log in from 8am, apart from those working in Holburne and Clevelands (9am).\u00a0 More information about the <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/it-status\/2015\/08\/28\/log-out-between-6am-and-8am-tuesday-15-september-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\">work and why we are requesting users log out<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>IT Services at at Holburne Museum and Clevelands buildings will be unavailable while maintenance takes place (7am - 9am).\u00a0 The work is to extend the bandwidth to 10 Gbps and improve the resiliency and reliability of our network off campus.<\/li>\n<li>HPC service - all compute nodes on Balena will be reserved from 7am and will be released once ClusterVision has completed upgrade work.\u00a0\u00a0 During this period login nodes and storage areas will be available and the scheduler can accept jobs into the queue but will only run once reservation is released.\u00a0 HPC users have been emailed more details.<\/li>\n<li>Wiki will be unavailable and undergoing maintenance (8am-9am)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Our 'at risk' period is\u00a0between 7am and\u00a09am on Tuesdays\u00a0when we carry out scheduled maintenance, modifications and testing.\u00a0 This work is\u00a0essential to maintain and develop the services that we provide.\u00a0 Thank you for your patience during the maintenance period.<\/p>\n<p>Use go.bath.ac.uk\/it-status to find out the current status of IT services at the University of Bath<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maintenance and upgrades will be taking place, during our at risk* period Tuesday 15 September 2015, 6am-9am.
