{"id":232,"date":"2020-11-10T10:49:16","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T10:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/kaleidoscope\/?p=232"},"modified":"2020-11-10T10:49:16","modified_gmt":"2020-11-10T10:49:16","slug":"2020-21-group-goals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/kaleidoscope\/2020\/11\/10\/2020-21-group-goals\/","title":{"rendered":"2020-21 group goals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to announce the 2020-21 group goals for Kaleidoscope, the LGBT+ group for Staff and PGRs.<\/p>\n<p>Following a consultation with our membership we have written these goals to help guide the actions of the committee throughout the year. Our goals for this academic year are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply to the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.<\/li>\n<li>Secure funding to receive support to complete the application for the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.<\/li>\n<li>Secure ongoing funding for the Rainbow Lanyards Project.<\/li>\n<li>Encourage allies to complete self-guided online allyship training, leading to recognition with a digital Kaleidoscope Ally signature.<\/li>\n<li>Secure the presence of ED&amp;I representation at all staff induction events to ensure representation from all staff support groups.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a campaign for increased resources to support the ED&amp;I team, engaging with other support groups across the university to achieve this.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen links with the Doctoral College and PGA to help make PGR students aware of Kaleidoscope as an alternative to the SU LGBT+ group<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These goals will be reviewed annually, and are designed to compliment our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bath.ac.uk\/publications\/terms-of-reference-kaleidoscope\/attachments\/terms-of-reference-2020.pdf\">Terms of Reference<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any comments or feedback, please do not hesitate to get in touch via <a href=\"mailto:lgbt-staff@bath.ac.uk\">lgbt-staff@bath.ac.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a member of the LGBT+community and would like to join Kaleidoscope, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/kaleidoscope\/2019\/09\/24\/new-mailing-list\/\">you can do so here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are an ally and would like to join our Allies Network, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/kaleidoscope\/2020\/09\/18\/are-you-an-lgbt-ally\/\">you can do so here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to announce the 2020-21 group goals for Kaleidoscope, the LGBT+ group for Staff and PGRs.
