Asexual people can identify as heterosexual, gay, bisexual, pansexual or any other orientation.<\/p>\n<p>Other asexual sub-identities include demisexual, grey-asexual and more. A demisexual person is sexually attracted only to people whom they share an emotional bond with. Grey asexuality refers to a \u201cgrey\u201d spectrum of sexuality that lies between asexuality and sexuality. A person on this spectrum may experience sexual attraction on occasion or only towards specific people.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/kaleidoscope\/2022\/10\/25\/asexuality-awareness-week-jessicas-story\/\">Read Jessica's story on their experience as an Ace person.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Asexual identities are often outlooked, misunderstood or mocked. Many people know little about this identity, never mind that it might be a good fit for them. The goal of Ace Awareness Week is to create a safer and more accepting environment for asexual people so they can feel free to express their identities.
