Before you apply, please read the following information:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 210px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #333333\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Both<strong> Staff and Students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) <\/strong>are encouraged to apply for the fund<\/li>\n<li>Projects must be <strong>between \u00a31000-\u00a35000<\/strong> in total<\/li>\n<li>Duration of projects can be <strong>up to two years<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is recommended that the project incorporates some form of <strong>Staff-Student collaboration<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Any successful bids for equipment are based upon an agreement that the equipment becomes part of the LITEBox Digital Playground upon project completion.<\/li>\n<li>Successful applicants will further be asked to contribute to the LITEBox community through seminars, blog posts and\/or \"cafe style\" introductory\/dissemination events. Santander may also contact the applicant for personal information, and an impact report to understand the outcomes and impact generated from the project will be required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Santander Fund Staff Video 38 Secs\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/239630901?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 240px\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #333333\"><strong>Topic Areas:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are certain topic areas the applications should fall under.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Personal Development:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/em>These projects are focused on developing individual learning and teaching experiences, including whilst on placement. For instance, how is your project contributing to the development of a range of skills including but not limited to: public engagement opportunities, final year projects, PhD projects, group work.<\/p>\n<p>Past Funded Project:<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/litebox\/2018\/06\/14\/litebox-santander-technology-fund-round-ii-award-winners\/\"><em> Spanish Radio Station<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The aim of this project is to explore the use of broadcasting media, through the creation of a weekly one-hour Spanish Radio programme, to enhance language learning and intercultural awareness for students.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Requested amount approx. \u00a33000 over 2 years<\/li>\n<li>Legacy - Radio equipment and the know-how of running a radio programme is taught to interested students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>Program Specific<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span>These projects are focused on developing programs of study.
