{"id":37,"date":"2015-06-02T10:44:21","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T10:44:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/new-builds\/?p=37"},"modified":"2015-06-02T10:50:55","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T10:50:55","slug":"10-west-project-update-june-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/new-builds\/2015\/06\/02\/10-west-project-update-june-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"10 West: Project Update - June 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Progress to date<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project is on program and continues to benefit from the good weather conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The construction of level 3 has been completed, level 4 is also making good progress.<\/li>\n<li>The erection of the steel frame to the west block and atrium is now completed.<\/li>\n<li>The facades are now commencing which will allow the internal trades to start work in the near future.<\/li>\n<li>The insitu reinforced concrete feature atrium staircase is now in progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ongoing reviews continue with the final users of the building, the Department of Psychology and the Office of Policy and Planning, refining detailed requirements and furniture procurement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Health &amp; Safety<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Extra measures and precautions remain in place around the site when construction vehicles leave and are being monitored to ensure safety.
