The team made good progress on multiple fronts on the run up to Christmas and have returned in the new year progressing with new work faces throughout.<\/p>\n

The external fa\u00e7ade continues to take shape and over the period activity has been maintained on all elevations. Works to the north elevation continue to install capping. On the east elevations we have installed all louvres and glazing. Works are well underway to install the rainscreen backing structure to both west and south gables. On the pavilion roof elevations framework is being completed to the atrium fa\u00e7ade and glazing has been installed to the south and west elevations. At pavilion level the fa\u00e7ade framework is complete, and installation of the glazing has now commenced.<\/p>\n

Referance the internals of the building mechanical and electrical installation continues to progress on all levels. At basement level works are underway to install ductwork to both zones 02 and 03. Containment is also progressing. AHUs are in place and the water tank has been built. At level zero high level containment is being installed to lecture theatres throughout. At level one high level ductwork is underway to both wings with pipework ongoing to toilet areas. At level two, ductwork install has commenced and pipework to toilet areas and risers to all floors above is in progress. First fix stud and board continue, the team have since formed the faculty offices on level two along with plastering and coating up of the two number mock-up rooms. At level three first fix stud to form the faculty offices is underway and we have commenced laying the first set of tracks to form the faculty offices at level four. To note the WC areas have also been formed on floors one to four and associated screed to areas completed.<\/p>\n

At level 5 roof finishes have been installed and the last sections of the permanent handrail are being closed out. AHUs have been loaded out and SFS is in progress to elevations. On level 6 hot melt works are complete and roof finishes are installed to both zone 01 and 03. The team are underway installing finishes that interface with the atrium roof system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
