{"id":255,"date":"2016-10-10T10:53:00","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T10:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/pmdlce20\/?p=255"},"modified":"2016-10-10T10:53:00","modified_gmt":"2016-10-10T10:53:00","slug":"pedro-estrela-visits-ribeirao-preto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/pmdlce20\/2016\/10\/10\/pedro-estrela-visits-ribeirao-preto\/","title":{"rendered":"Pedro Estrela visits Ribeirao Preto"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pedro Estrela visited the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) as part of an exchange scheme funded by the University of Bath and FAPESP (SPRINT programme).<\/p>\n<p>The visit to the campus in Ribeir\u00e3o Preto was very useful to interact with the members of the group of <a href=\"http:\/\/dcm.ffclrp.usp.br\/sensormat\/\" target=\"_blank\">Prof Mulato <\/a>as well as visit the facilities and learn about the spread of research being done at USP Ribeir\u00e3o Preto.<\/p>\n<p>The visit was followed by attendance at the <a href=\"http:\/\/sbpmat.org.br\/15encontro\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Brazilian Materials Research Society conference <\/a>in Campinas where Dr Estrela had an invited talk.
