Share your experiences of participatory research and Public Patient Involvement in research

Posted in: Public Engagement Unit updates

As part of our ParticipatoryResearch@Bath project, we want to create the conditions for participatory research and patient and public involvement (PPI) to flourish at the University of Bath, and we need your help!

Our first step is to investigate the current culture of participatory research and PPI at the University of Bath; the needs, barriers, and enablers that researchers have when utilising this approach.

Participatory Research and PPI survey

Do you have experience using participatory methods in your work? We are inviting staff and students to tell us about their experiences in our survey.

Click here to complete the survey

It will take about 20-30 minutes to complete.

The data from the survey will inform a report on the current culture of participatory research and PPI at the University of Bath, including recommendations for how we can better support this work in the future.

Could you be one of our case studies?

We know a participatory approach to research is common across several departments and research centres at the University of Bath, with some pockets of high-quality good practice.

We would like to create some case studies that demonstrate best practice in participatory research and PPI. If you have a project that we could write up as a case study, please get in touch with Kim Townsend on KT830@bath.ac.uk
