As part of <a href=\"http:\/\/futuresnight.co.uk\"><strong>FUTURES<\/strong><\/a>, the West of England's free festival of discovery delivered through <strong>European Researchers\u2019 Night<\/strong>, we\u2019re hosting a one-night-only late opening that explores <strong>The Future of Work<\/strong> in creative, surprising and hands\u2011on ways.<\/p>\n<p>This is a fantastic opportunity to step outside the university, bring your research into a lively public space, and spark conversations with curious audiences in a truly unique setting.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 theme: The Future of Work<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re inviting ideas that connect with one (or more) of our three exciting strands:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> AI in the Workplace<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Health and Work<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Work in Literature and Film<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your activity might also link to the museum\u2019s collection or take inspiration from Bath\u2019s rich social and working history. However you approach it, we\u2019re keen to support bold, accessible ideas that get people thinking.<\/p>\n<p>Why get involved?<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in FUTURES is about much more than a single evening. Your idea doesn\u2019t need to be fully formed yet. Whether you\u2019ve got something ready to run or an early idea you\u2019d like to develop, we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p>Your <strong>250 \u2013 300 word proposal<\/strong> should briefly outline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your activity and how it connects to the theme or strands<\/li>\n<li>Any space, resources or funding you might need<\/li>\n<li>Whether you\u2019ll need volunteers (and support recruiting them)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\ud83d\uddd3 <strong>Deadline for proposals: Monday 8 June 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We also have a <strong>small pot of funding<\/strong> available to help cover materials and expenses.<\/p>\n<p>Need help shaping your idea?<\/p>\n<p>No problem at all.
