Research at Lunchtime is a new event we've created with the Social Media team from the Department of Communications using Facebook Live. This platform is a live video streaming feature on Facebook that allows you to broadcast a live video out to an audience through the University of Bath's profile.<\/p>\n
Do you want to engage people with your research from the comfort of your own home? This is an opportunity for you to share your research with everyone in the UK who has been asked to remain home under lockdown.<\/p>\n
As public events cannot currently take place this is a valuable opportunity for public groups to engage with research remotely. You can also develop your skills using Facebook Live and Instagram Live to present your research.<\/p>\n
Be ready to give a 10 minute talk about your research and answer a few questions afterwards. This can be done from the comfort of your own home with technical support from the University of Bath\u2019s Social Media team.<\/p>\n
These Facebook live events will be targeted towards a family audience. Think about your research could appeal to both adults who are working from home and children who are no longer attending school and remember to keep things family friendly.<\/p>\n
