Want to engage a new demographic with your work? Join the Natural History Consortium and take part in a one-off collaboration as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/futuresnight.co.uk\/\"><em>FUTURES2021<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Nature-Gram<\/h3>\n<p>Young people 18-34, are often overlooked when it comes to more traditional environmental science engagement programmes, Nature-Gram is an engagement programme and professional development opportunity for environmental scientists to engage this often overlooked with their research.<\/p>\n<p>Following the successful pilot as part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/festofnature\/\">City Nature Challenge<\/a>, we're working with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bnhc.org.uk\/\">Natural History Consortium<\/a> to pair researchers with UK-based content creators to co-produce original content based on your work and environmental science themes. Nature-Gram will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 September 2021.<\/p>\n<h3>Develop your public engagement skills<\/h3>\n<p>Don't worry if you're not confident in social media, involvement in Nature-Gram will be an opportunity to develop or improve your digital engagement skills. You'll be paired with an experienced social media user and training will be available that helps with idea generation and communications skills.<\/p>\n<h3>Get involved<\/h3>\n<p>Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
