CSC<\/a>T started a Twitter competition in December, for PhD students and academics across the globe to decribe their research in a limerick!<\/p>\n

Here is what SAMBa students came up with...<\/p>\n

Matt D - ODE to Matt P<\/p>\n

For many long years I have sought <\/em><\/p>\n

the solution to Neutron Transport. <\/em><\/p>\n

I now have this vision <\/em><\/p>\n

that scatter and fission <\/em><\/p>\n

have both probability nought.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I model WiFi propagation, <\/em><\/p>\n

To improve global communication, <\/em><\/p>\n

Model waves using lines, <\/em><\/p>\n

It takes much less time, <\/em><\/p>\n

Computing millions of simulations.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last year I started a mission <\/em><\/p>\n

To research nuclear fission <\/em><\/p>\n

So far we have shown <\/em><\/p>\n

An eigenvalue is known <\/em><\/p>\n

For the system with a boundary condition.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why is my Internet so slow?<\/em>
\nThere must be a way to know,<\/em>

It is a problem across the nation,<\/em>
\nOf poor Internet communication,<\/em>
\nSo I use maths too,<\/em>
\nPredict close to true,<\/em>
\nLevels of wifi attenuation.<\/em><\/p>\n
