In April this year, as part of the 150 years of LMS (London Mathematical Society) celebrations the annual Women in Maths\u00a0conference was extended from the usual 1 day to 4 days.
\nIt was a brilliant opportunity to meet women at the forefront of research in their field and many members from industry as well as a large cohort of other female maths students from around the country and a few from abroad too! There was also opportunity to discuss some of the issues facing women in academia and routes for career progression.<\/p>\n
