This will take place at the University of Bath on\u00a0<strong>Monday 18th\u00a0and Tuesday 19th\u00a0June 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abstract submission deadline extended till Friday 27th April 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration is now open. Please complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/forms\/Rr8Bys7DWbx2fAcw2\">registration form<\/a>\u00a0by Friday 18th May 2018.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/siamsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2017\/02\/universityofbath_2_pictocr.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.bath.ac.uk\/siamsc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/23\/2017\/02\/universityofbath_2_pictocr.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the conference is to bring together students working in applied or industrial mathematics, and areas which use them, from across the UK and Ireland. There will be the opportunity for students to showcase their research through a talk or poster, or to discuss more informally over coffee or the provided lunch on both days.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome talks and posters from any area of applied mathematics, statistics, or any mathematics which has potential applications to industry. There is some funding available for those students with an accepted presentation.<\/p>\n<p>During the two day conference, we will host four fantastic plenary speakers:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imperial.ac.uk\/people\/m.blangiardo\">Marta Blangiardo<\/a>\u00a0(Imperial College London)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.personal.reading.ac.uk\/~sms03snc\/\">Simon Chandler-Wilde<\/a>\u00a0(University of Reading)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/people.maths.ox.ac.uk\/griffit4\/\">Ian Griffiths<\/a>\u00a0(University of Oxford)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmap.polytechnique.fr\/~spillane\/\">Nicole Spillane<\/a>\u00a0(CMAP, \u00c9cole Polytechnique)<\/p>\n<p>The relevant deadlines for the conference are:<br \/>\nThe deadline for contributed talk abstracts is <del datetime=\"2018-04-05T10:54:48+00:00\">Friday 30th March 2018<\/del>\u00a0Friday 27th April 2018.<br \/>\nThe deadline for poster submissions is <del datetime=\"2018-04-05T10:54:48+00:00\">Friday 13th April 2018<\/del>\u00a0Friday 27th April 2018.<br \/>\nThe deadline for registration is Friday, 18th May 2018.<\/p>\n<p>For further information, registration and abstract submission, please see the conference website at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/go.bath.ac.uk\/SNSCC-2018\">http:\/\/go.bath.ac.uk\/SNSCC-2018<\/a>.
