This will be a great opportunity to get together and celebrate what technicians contribute to the University, as well as finding out more about the Technician Commitment, both here and elsewhere in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>Guest speaker Kelly Vere (<a href=\"https:\/\/sciencecouncil.org\/about-us\/our-team\/\">Technician Commitment Lead, Science Council<\/a>) will share her experience of the impact the Technician Commitment has had to date on technical staff in higher education and research.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be a poster exhibition showcasing the work that technicians do - we're keen for every technical team to prepare a poster for this to work! This can be very simple and feature examples of the work you're involved in, focus on a specific project, introduce your team members or anything else you choose.
