This is important if, as generally accepted, adopting a TD approach increase the societal value of research.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inderscienceonline.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1504\/IJASM.2020.107922\">Our latest paper, published in the International Journal of Agile Systems and Management,<\/a> benchmarks TD engineering research against the broader TD literature addressing the question: How do the characteristics of the academic engineering TD literature compare to the TD academic literature in general?<\/p>\n<p>We find that TD research is limited generally, and within engineering specifically. Historically, TD research has had a strong focused on sustainability challenges.
