I am currently on my placement year with Hawk-Eye Innovations as part of their Tennis Department. We provide electronic line calling for tennis events across the globe so have the opportunity to travel to some amazing places. This year's WTA Pan Pacific Open was held in Tokyo, so a team of 3 operators were sent out to the Japanese capital to set-up and operate the system for some of the world's top athletes.

In this video you can see some examples of the services we provide, including challenges and live statistics. I have also had the opportunity to check out some of Japan's top tourist sites, which you will see. Along with seeing the sunset at Mount Fuji and sampling Japanese cuisine, I have been able to experience the culture, which is totally different to that in the western world, through meeting people and visiting historical sites across the city.

I hope you enjoyed the video. Feel free to email me odm23@bath.ac.uk if you have any questions about my placement!
