Changes to upcoming events due to Coronavirus

Posted in: Uncategorised

As you will be aware, the situation with Coronavirus is constantly evolving and means that University, Government, NHS, and Public Health England guidelines are updated on a regular basis.

Kaleidoscope are fully committed to the health and wellbeing of all its members and the University community.

Unfortunately this means we will have to cancel all regular and one-off Kaleidoscope events between now and the end of Semester 2 (Friday 29 May 2020). This includes the upcoming LGBT+ Coffee & Cake event on 25th March.

As an alternative, we would like to offer Kaleidoscope members a virtual version of the regular meetups via Yammer. These will be held at the same times and dates as the usualĀ  meetups and will be facilitated by the Kaleidoscope committee. Join the group here!

We had also started planning for the University's first Pride event, due to take place on 5 June on campus. As this event is for the whole university community we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone until further notice. We will be in touch when a new date is arranged!

Best wishes, Ben
