St Nick offers some words of wisdom ahead of the exam period in the Skills Centre's 2022 seasonal message.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...

Students were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of top grades danced in their heads.

Then what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer!

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick!

Come to impart some knowledge so wise,
'Bout my upcoming exams and how to revise.

"Manage your time well," St Nick said, "make a plan."
"Don't start cramming just before the exam."

"Find a good study space, take lots of breaks.
Look after yourself so you don't make mistakes."

"Practise past papers! Do lots of sport!
If you feel stressed, reach out for support."

"My best counsel," St Nick said, so kind and reflective,
"Is not to burn out, keep exams in perspective."

Then he sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight -
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

Season's Greetings from the Skills Centre!
