Introduction to assistive technology

Learn about the Assistive Technology Service. Our Service can be particularly beneficial for students with disabilities, long-term health conditions, injuries or other access needs.
The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to our service and highlight the available resources you can use to help you with your studies.
During the session we will:
- Explain what type of software and equipment is available to you as a student
- Show you where to find more information and how to ask for support
- Talk about the ergonomic support we offer to students with injuries and mobility issues
- Answer any questions you might have
Please note that this is a hybrid event. You can either attend online or in person. Meeting link will be provided upon booking. If you wish to attend in person, room location will be confirmed closer to the time.
