We are looking for local organisations that would like to benefit from student support working on a stand-alone project between July and August 2025.
As part of the University's relationship with Santander bank, and to give undergraduate students from our Faculty of Social Sciences an opportunity to gain real-world work experience, we are looking for local opportunities for students to plan and deliver a piece of work for an organisation over a period of two months.
In previous years, students have:
- Helped Bath City Farm collect data from stakeholders that was used to support the Farm's strategic decision making.
- Developed interventions to support Wiltshire Wildlife Trust in reducing its staff and volunteer carbon emissions.
- Supported local organisation Pledgeball to develop a resource bank of facts and figures for its website, and designing a user account system.
And so much more!
The Santander Employability Projects scheme prioritises students not undertaking a professional placement as part of their degree, as a way to help them gain real-world experience alongside their studies. Students are financially supported to do this work for local organisations by Santander, meaning there is no cost to the organisation.
If your organisation has a project that you'd like us to offer to our students, please contact Amy by 10th April.
