To kick off 2020, our director, Prof. Xiao Lan Curdt-Christiansen, has been working tirelessly visiting universities and local government bodies in China. She has given talks and seminars and has been negotiating on behalf of our centre, even giving a seminar on Christmas day! The feedback so far has been really positive and we're thankful for Xiao Lan's efforts. She's currently continuing her work in Singapore and we look forward to welcoming her back to the UK at the end of January.
