We were delighted to be joined by Dr Andy Gao from the University of New South Wales, Australia, this week in our best-attended seminar so far! He kindly shared his insights and experience of editing academic journals, going through the complex realities of making editorial decisions.
It was especially interesting and helpful to find out what goes into the review process, why articles might be rejected, and how to think about these while preparing an article for submission to a journal. This is a must-watch for anyone interested in publishing or the academic publishing process!
The seminar was recorded and can be viewed on our YouTube channel or using the embedded video below:
This marks the last of our seminars for this academic year, but we hope to be back to continue the seminar series after the summer. Watch this space!
