The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is marking the retirement of two long-standing members of staff at the end of the month.
Dr Peter Shepherd, Senior Lecturer and former Director of Studies in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, is retiring at the end of September after over 31 years at the University. Senior Lecturer, Dr Martin Balchin, is also leaving us after 40 years.
To say a fond farewell and thank you, the Department is hosting a leaving do on Thursday 28 September from 3.30pm in 4ES. Any colleagues who have worked with Peter or Martin over the years are warmly invited to attend.
There is also a card and collection for both in 2 East 2.10.
We would like thank Peter and Martin for the huge contribution they have made to the Department and University over the years and wish them both a very happy retirement.
