This week brightly coloured signs have popped up at crossings all over campus. The Culture and Inclusion team have been working closely with Campus Infrastructure to initiate our “Cross with Pride” campaign, just in time for our Campus Pride celebrations.
You will have seen rainbow coloured road crossings making an appearance all over the UK, but as these are not friendly to the blind and partially sighted, we have opted for a different approach here at Bath.
Cross with Pride signs, which showcase the intersex inclusive version of the Progress Pride Flag, are a way for us to show our year round support to the LGBTQ+ community without having an impact on our disabled community. You can see the new signs at these locations:
- 10 East
- The Sports Training Village
- The Edge
- Brendon Court
- Woodland Court
- West Operations Office
