The Bath University Interfaith Community is now in its second year. We continue to enjoy developing relationships and understanding. Shared meals and social time are the foundations for this work.
In the last three months the role of this community has been thrown into sharp focus, at the most basic level as we stand together helping each other cope with the changing news, we are reminded of our common humanity. It has been a deeply moving time together.
It has been so encouraging for us to see the moving ideals in the student community and their heart cry that “there must be another way to resolve differences”. The Visiting Local Faith Leaders and I send you our very best wishes. Although we may have less contact over the next three or four weeks with the vacation, reading week and exams, we shall be thinking of you. We are always contactable by email. We look forward to continuing to build this caring network for each other recognising our shared humanity.
