I would like to encourage members of our community to attend this Trans-inclusivity Round Table Discussion from by UCL's Institute of Education. The event is being live streamed, and has an all trans academic panel who will be discussion how transphobia manifests at an individual, collective, societal and institutional level.

Even if you are well versed on the issues being discussed I would encourage you to take this opportunity to listen to trans people. Hearing the lived experience of other human beings live often offers much more than a tweet or online article does.
The world of equity and inclusion is like a river, fast moving and ever changing. Along with increasingly negative media narratives, we must all do what we can to keep an open mind and keep learning. As is the nature of the academic mind.
