Join our Sharing Practice lunchtime session - Autistic Community Involvement in Research

Posted in: Learning and Training, Participatory research

Are you doing/or are you interested in doing participatory research? Are you interested in exploring how to involve people as co-researchers and produce research that is inclusive, meaningful and relevant? If so, come and join our lunchtime sharing practice get-together!

Join Professor Ailsa Russell and Dr Ralph Bagnall from the Centre for Applied Autism Research (CAAR) as they discuss the blueprint for autism community involvement in research that was co-created between the CAAR team and members of the autistic community. Ralph and Ailsa will be discussing how they approached co-developing the blueprint and will share some of the key principles and practices for effective and inclusive co-production that they identified working together with members of the autistic community.

Who is this for?

This is an informal and safe space for University of Bath researchers to share with peers and reflect on your practice. We are hoping to create a community of practice where researchers can share their stories, methodologies, and ethics approach.

Date: Thursday 2 October 2025

Time:12:30-13:30

Location: Room TBC/online (Teams)

Some refreshments will be available and please do bring your lunch along with you.
