As Semester 2 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the achievements of our incredible University of Bath community.

Celebrating your achievements

To all our students, congratulations on reaching the end of the academic year. Whether you’ve just completed your first year, are heading off on placement or a study year abroad, or preparing to graduate, we are so proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

To our graduating students, thank you for being part of our community. We wish you every success in your next steps and hope you carry forward the friendships, experiences, and knowledge you’ve gained here.

To those going on placement or study abroad, best of luck as you take on new challenges and opportunities. We look forward to hearing about your experiences and welcoming you back in the future.

A heartfelt thank you to our staff

To all staff, thank you for your dedication, creativity, and care. Your work continues to shape a supportive and inspiring environment for our students to thrive.

Looking ahead

If you’re returning in the autumn, we look forward to seeing you again soon. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy a well-earned summer break.

Support over the summer

We know that many of our master’s and doctoral students continue their studies and research over the summer. Please remember that support is still available:

  • Skills Centre Summer Support – 1:1 writing tutorials, maths and statistics help, and dissertation/project support.
  • Library Services – Continued access to digital resources, research tools, and referencing help.
  • Doctoral College – Ongoing support for doctoral students, including training and development resources.

To everyone in our community - thank you. We hope you find time to rest, recharge, and reflect. You’ve earned it.

Warmest wishes,

Professor Cassie Wilson, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience)

Professor Julian Chaudhuri, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education)
