On 31 October 2024 we welcomed Vice Chancellor and President Professor Phil Taylor who spoke about his work in the sector on ‘Barriers to Black Academia’. The event also featured Professor Jane White speaking on this year’s theme of Black History Month: ‘Reclaiming narratives’, and what that means here at the University of Bath. To close the event Dr Teslim Bukoye provided a summary of our Black History Month activity, and described the path ahead regarding our Race Equality Charter submission and progress at Bath.
