Each year, the Sustainability Survey gives our community a meaningful opportunity to influence the University’s direction on sustainability so that we can help build a more resilient future. Your experiences and priorities support our decision-making and help us take action where it matters most.
Your voice matters
Thank you to everyone who took the time to take part in the survey. Bath’s commitment to sustainability is strengthened by the diverse perspectives of our community, and your feedback helps us strike the right balance between the University's sustainability ambitions and wider priorities.
Over the coming months, we'll share a full summary of this year's results. Key headlines so far show that our community still cares passionately about sustainability and sees the benefits of taking action personally and globally. You also told us that visible leadership and continued ambition in sustainability matters to you. Later this year, we will be launching a new Sustainability Plan for the University aligned with the University’s forthcoming Institutional Strategy and guided by the experiences and priorities of our community.
You can explore insights from the previous Sustainability Surveys and see how your feedback informs our progress in our annual reports.
Celebrating our prize draw winners
As a thank you to everyone who completed the survey, all participants were entered into a prize draw with prizes ranging from £25 to £300.

Emma Cockle, Executive Assistant in Campus Services won the £300 staff prize and shared:
'I am delighted to have won the £300 Bath Gift Card. As someone who is passionate about sustainability, I was keen to complete the survey to share my views and contribute to positive environmental change at the University. I recognise that collecting data across all departmental areas is essential to accurately measure behaviour change, track improvements, and achieve meaningful impact. I look forward to using the voucher to treat myself and my family.'

Leo Lewis, BSc (Hons) Management with work placement, won the top prize in the student draw and shared:
'I took part in this year's Sustainability Survey because I care about sustainability in my University and I wanted to contribute my student feedback which will help guide sustainable choices. I'm excited to use the voucher and try somewhere new in Bath.'
