I went to my first meeting of LEEF last week. If I lived in London I’d be there all the time. The meeting was to launch the King’s College research reports and I’d been invited to say a few words. I tried to set the report in a longer-term context.
I was impressed by the turn out, the mix of people there (backgrounds and experience), the atmosphere, and by the questions. There were not too many of these but they were good ones – and were, rather like the report itself, an aid to thinking. There was much networking going on and some simple but tasty canapés helped as they always do.
It is particularly good to see the King’s EE research group up and running with its MA programme and PhD students. I wish it (and LEEF) well.
