Plymouth: a very modern major university

Posted in: Comment, News and Updates

I read that the University of Plymouth is being unfairly criticised for spending a mere £375,000 on the much needed refurbishment of the vice-chancellor’s office while prudently saving £zillions cutting 150 jobs that are now surplus to requirements.

Fools!  Who are these hopeless people who cannot tell the difference between an investment for the future good of the university and a prudent release of funds for strategically-targeted spending?  Have they really no idea how modern universities work?
