A rumour is abroad that the Quality Assurance Agency in Scotland is going to make ESD the focus of a new enhancement theme. In case you don't know (and why should you?), these themes aim to improve the learning experience of students studying within the Scottish higher education sector – if they can manage to get a place in what is a tightly rationed system.
So, just as the world discovers the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals, the imminence of the ecological crisis and the immediacy of the climate emergency, the QAA is to focus on ESD.
