On Saturday 9th March 2019, we have an afternoon trip to Aerospace, Bristol departing 12:30hrs from University East Car Park, cost £27 for adults, £22 for children which includes coach travel to and from the museum, a one hour private guided tour and free time to explore the fun interactive exhibits, travelling through the decades with a chance to step aboard Concorde Alpha Foxtrot.
The evening of Wednesday 10th April 2019, we are off to see Samantha Womack star in The Girl on the Train at the Theatre Royal Bath, 19:30 hrs, cost £34 per ticket for seats in the stalls rows J to M.
April ends with a choice of between visiting Kew Gardens £34 or Hampton Court Palace £36, departing from University East Car Park by coach, on Saturday 27th April 2019, (reduced rates for seniors and children). At Kew gardens visit the newly restored Temperate House, the Palm House, the Waterlily house and the Prince of Wales Conservatory. Walk through the arboretum to the Pagoda or take in the view from the treetop walkway. Immerse yourself in the award-winning Hive. At Hampton Court Palace spend the day wallowing in history, see Henry VIII's Apartments and his Crown, take a walk through the Tudor Kitchens, enjoy Chapel Court and/or the Chapel Royal, discover magnificent artworks by Rembrandt, Caravaggio and van Dyck in the Cumberland Art Gallery, visit William III's Apartments, Afterwards enjoy the gardens and get lost in the maze!
