Trains to terminate at Bristol TM, on Gloucester line, during August

Posted in: Public transport

This summer vast amounts of works are ongoing to improve, and electrify the Great Western Railway line.

This will cause some disruption to the services on offer.

The latest news is:

  • For those of you who use the Great Malvern / Gloucester to Keynsham / Bath local service, please note that services between Gloucester/Cam & Dursley and Keynsham/Bath will be virtually running normally during the period July 18th – 31st 2015.
  • During August there will be a normal service with some minor re-timings on the Gloucester line but trains will terminate at Bristol Temple Mead (TM). Change will be necessary for three trains an hour to Bath (two fast and one stopper per hour between Bristol TM and Bath) and only one train per hour calling at Keynsham and Oldfield Park.
