WESBath held a successful evening on 13 April 2018 - a mixture of research, networking and pizza - always a good combination.
Five members of WESBath gave a 3MT style talk about their research and after that there was chance to enjoy the pizza and network with colleagues.
Dr Mi Tian | Chemical Engineering | Porous polymer-based composite for the sustainable transport applications” |
Dr Kate Polak-Kraśna, | Mechanical Engineering | Human spinal cord, what we know but most importantly what we don’t know about it and how can we treat spinal cord injury and help paralysed patients walk again |
Parimala Shivaprasad | Chemical Engineering | Metal and enzyme catalysts |
Heather Wyman-Pain | Electrical Engineering | The economic provision of frequency response in a low carbon future |
Fedra Zaribaf | Mechanical Engineering | Optimising the visibility of Polyethylene biomaterials for X-ray imaging |
It was great to hear about such different research in one evening - all that listening was hungry work and pizza encouraged networking afterward!
