I wrote recently about Mark Lynas's Damascene conversion to GM. Here he is again, testing out his position against the views of an eminent US scientist, Nina Fedoroff. Oh that we all did the equivalent of that!
And here, for a bit of balance, is the man in the white overalls himself, Peter Melchett on GM's seven sins against science. Whatever road Lord M is on, it's not noticeably heading for Damascus. I do wonder if his strong views on GMOs are at all amenable to alternative reason. What, if anything, would persuade him to change his mind? A question we all should be able to answer, at least to ourselves.
