This practice has been closely involved in collaborative and practice initiated non-commercial research for 11 years. Particular interests are qualitative studies with innovative cross-disciplinary components including creative arts and social care. This practice is part of the Primary Care Research Network (SW), and is actively involved in NIHR studies.
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic researcher for this half-time post co-ordinating the practice research programmes, including developing new projects, promotion of research in the wider healthcare and social care communities and continuing close links with universities and NHS partners. Office space will be provided in the branch surgery in Saltford (between Keynsham and Bath) currently undergoing major refurbishment. Salary on NHS Band 6 up to point 25 according to experience.
- Essential is familiarity with the interfaces between the NHS, universities and other agencies and knowledge and experience of grant and ethics application. Willingness to travel locally is required.
- Nursing qualification would be an advantage but not essential.
