PRINCIPLE is a nationwide clinical trial from the University of Oxford to find low-risk COVID-19 treatments for the over 50s that can be taken at home to help people get better quickly and stop them needing to go to hospital.
To be eligible to join the trial you will need to have experienced symptoms that are likely to be caused by COVID-19 for fewer than 15 days. The trial is open to people aged 65 or over, or aged 50–64 with an underlying health condition.
You can participate from the comfort of your own home from anywhere in the UK with no face-to-face visits required. The trial team and your own GP will be available for you to contact throughout.
