We have been contacted by one of our members who is looking for a non-binary volunteer to help out at a public engagement event. Catherine says:
“I’m hoping to find someone who identifies as gender nonbinary to join me at a public engagement event called ‘The Human Library’. Their aim is to reduce prejudice and stigma by inviting the public to listen to the lived stories of others.
Their latest venture is to pair researchers and people with lived experience. I’ve just finished some research looking at the social construction of gender nonbinary and I’m writing to Kaleidoscope to ask whether any identifies, or knows anyone who identifies, as nonbinary to join me?
It would be great to meet up and I can share my research findings, and we can talk about the event. It’s going to be held in Bath library on 7th July between 12-2pm.”
