Our LGBTQ+ History month alumni panel is coming up fast and we wanted to share a short introduction to each panel member so you can have a taste of what to expect at the event:

Edward Luw

Edward Luw (he/him) from Shanxi, China, graduated with a Master of Science in Management with Finance from the School of Management in 2009.

After spending twenty years working in IT multinationals in China he recently relocated to the UK with his British partner and children, reinventing himself.

Mat graduated in 1997 with a BSc. (Hons) in International Management and Modern Languages (French).  After qualifying as an Chartered Accountant with PwC, Mat relocated to the USA where he went on to become an Audit and Transaction Advisory Partner at BDO USA and subsequently the Chief Financial Officer of two international law firms.  Mat is now the Chief Operating Officer of Kramer Levin, an international law firm headquartered in New York City.  Mat lives in the suburbs with his husband Eric and their two children.  He enjoys the theatre (both as an audience member and investor) and ballroom dancing, a passion he discovered while at Bath.

Dr Maz Apsbury

Dr. Marianne "Maz" Aspbury (she/they) studied Natural Sciences (MSci) at Bath and graduated in 2018. Maz went on to complete a DPhil in Paediatric Neuroimaging at the University of Oxford, researching brain-based measures of pain in infants to improve pain assessment and treatment.
