Introducing our Automation Standards

Posted in: Power Automate

Last month we officially launched our set of Automation Standards with members of our Power Community of Practice (PCoP).

The PCoP Steering Group developed a set of Automation Standards between us which we hope will help colleagues at the University of Bath using process automation to create flows with Power Automate that are reliable, maintainable, and secure - while also promoting collaboration and consistency among colleagues. Please try to have a read of them and share with colleagues who you might be developing automated processes with.

You can see the full set of standards at the following link: Automation standards for Microsoft Power Automate (bath.ac.uk). We recommend that you bookmark this list and refer to it at the start of any process improvement projects where you are considering using automation.

View a condensed version of the standards in the graphic below:

Existing members of the PCoP can also watch a video summarising why these standards are important here: New: Automation Standard posted in Power Community of Practice on 02 September 2024 -

If you're not already a member of our community, you can request to join the team here: Power Community of Practice | General | Microsoft Teams.

Any questions, please comment or drop us a line at powerup@bath.ac.uk.
